We’ll ensure you’re not missing any major details, introduce you to our trusted local vendors, and keep you on track with your planning schedule!

Before the big day: PLANNING & STYLING

  • Get immediate access to your own custom ‘Planning Portfolio’ to keep your planning organized, efficient, and on time throughout the planning process (get started upon booking)

  • Four scheduled consultations with Blue Violet Events experts (you can use these consultations however you need: styling & event design, florals & decor, timelines & logistics, scheduling & timelines, etc.)

  • Unlimited email communication throughout the planning process starting 10 months before your wedding day

  • A site visit to your venue to review your floor plan, guest flow, and decor set-up

  • Access to our Preferred Partner list and local vendor suggestions and discounts where applicable (i.e. rentals, photo booth, etc.)

  • Budget management and review

  • Scheduled ‘Takeover’ Consultation 6 weeks prior to your wedding to hand everything over to the Blue Violet Events team (congrats, you’re off the hook!)

  • We'll be the key contacts for all vendors after the takeover

  • Construction of your 'Final Wedding Timeline' to be distributed to all key vendors two weeks before the wedding day

  • Facilitate the ceremony rehearsal (1 hour) and do a final venue walk through to finalize and review floor plan and decor set-up requirements

  • Distribution of printed timelines to key contacts


  • Your planners will arrive on site 5 hours before you walk down the aisle

  • Liaison for all vendors throughout the day and key contact for the venue - making sure everyone and everything is kept on perfect schedule

  • Inspection and confirmation of venue layout and decor set-up

  • Getting guests seated and people in place for a prompt ceremony start time

  • Facilitation of wedding processional and recessional - we’ll cue the music and fluff your dress!

  • Communicating with catering team to coordinate champagne toast and service during cocktail reception

  • Ensure place cards, place settings, flowers, favours, chairs and custom details are all perfectly oriented for the dinner reception

  • Cue the emcee, DJ, catering team and speeches throughout the reception

  • Wedding emergency aversion kit on hand at all times

  • 1 principal planner on site for 10 hours + 1 associate planner on site for 6 hours for a total of 16 hours of on-site coordination
