Hand over the challenges and stresses associated with planning a wedding to the Blue Violet Events team; a trusted group of professionals who will flawlessly plan & execute your special day.

Before the big day: PLANNING

  • 10 hours of meetings and consultations as needed from time of booking

  • Unlimited email and phone correspondence from day of booking

  • Immediate access to your custom “Wedding Planning Portfolio” via Google Drive to keep your planning organized, efficient, and on time!

  • Access to all Blue Violet Events timelines, checklists, and planning guides!

  • Budget creation & management

  • We'll help source and book all vendors and remain as key the contact throughout the booking process

  • Contract negotiation, scheduling logistics, and organizing payment plan with all vendors  

  • Access to all vendor discounts - obviously!

  • Venue selection for ceremony, reception, and accommodations for the wedding night

  • Advice on obtaining marriage license and other legal documents required (Special events license, permits, etc)

  • Recommendations for bachelor and bachelorette parties, if needed

  • Recommendations for the rehearsal dinner/welcome party

  • Advice on writing and/or selecting appropriate vows

  • Reviewing the style of ceremony you wish the officiant to administer

Before the big day: STYLING

  • Start to finish design and execution for your unique wedding vision

  • Colour scheme, wedding theme, custom detailing, and creative styling suggestions

  • Personalized style board

  • Selecting, designing, and ordering your ‘Save the Dates’ and wedding invites

  • Floor plan design and guest flow

  • Signage and stationary theme

  • Advice on creating your custom wedding website

  • Suggestions planning and sourcing wedding favours


  • Morning check-in with the bride and groom to ensure all is going as planned!
  • Running of any personal errands - ie. dress steaming, bagel delivery, or floral pick up

  • Arrival on venue at time of access to begin set up of the ceremony and reception

  • Setup of all wedding accessories and decor with the finest attention to detail

  • Inspection and confirmation of venue layout, decor set-up, and precision of details throughout the venue

  • Directing ceremony processional and recessional - we’ll cue the bridesmaids and fluff your dress!

  • Communicating with catering team to coordinate champagne toast and service during cocktail reception

  • Liaison for all vendors throughout the day and key contact for the venue - making sure everyone and everything is kept on perfect schedule

  • Ensure place cards, place settings, flowers, favours, chairs and custom details are all perfectly oriented for the dinner reception

  • Cue the emcee, DJ, catering team and speeches throughout the reception

  • Distribution of final payments and gratuities to vendors as needed

  • Supervise all activities from nuptials until reception completion

  • Tear down and clean up of venue

  • Emergency and disaster aversion (should a vase break...we'll take care of it!)

  • Wedding first-aid kit

  • 1 principal planner on site for up to 12 hours + 1 associate planner on site for 8 hours for a total of 20 hours of on-site coordination
